We have finally arrived. We all stepped out of our planes, cars, buses and past lives today onto the great plain scenery of Iceland. After hugs and hello’s we were in the bus on our way to (for me at least) the unknown adventure.
Hypnotised by the gray/brown/beigeish landscape, only disturbed by a few icelandic homes, we sat in the bus catching up on past ventures and “been up to’s”. We went to the place that will become our home for the coming month with more hugs and hello’s and a fantastic meal from the locals in our group. Under these black mountains with white peaks in the sun where the wind carries fresh air to our lungs we now live together, ready to start.

My face was stiff from the cold when I woke up. Our breakfast was slow and easy, everyone tired, not really ready for the active day ahead. Everything in the play is still unsure, and only a few have found the same pace. The dust has been whirled up and when it finally settles we will see what we have.
The bath made my insides warm and slow, and my head tired, filled with a fog so thick it would take a lighthouse to shine through it.
The day is over, the dishes are done and it feels like the day has lasted a week. I still can not comprehend that I am in Iceland.
